John Deere invested 1.4 billion rubles in a new production facility in Orenburg

In Orenburg, serial production of the 8R tractor with an engine power from 230 to 410 hp begins, and a W650 combine harvester with an output of 275 and 305 hp. The governor examined the first samples of self-propelled agricultural machinery today.

- Just a year ago we discussed the schedule for transferring the assembly production from Domodedovo to our region. Today we are already examining together the models of equipment that will be produced in Orenburg - emphasized the Governor of the Orenburg region Denis Pasler. - For agricultural producers in the Orenburg region, this is a huge advantage: the repair base is nearby, the opportunity for any manager to study and test the equipment before buying. This is an important factor for the renewal of the agricultural machinery park in the region.

At present, a draft agreement on cooperation between the Government of the Orenburg region and the John Deere Rus company is being worked out, which provides for the provision of discounts to agricultural producers when purchasing agricultural machinery manufactured by the company.

- Our production schedule directly depends on the number of orders. It is gratifying to see that now it is growing: next year, including trailed equipment, we plan to produce more than 500 units, - said the director of the branch of the company "John Deere Rus" in Orenburg Dmitry Novgorodov.
