Technopark of the Skolkovo Foundation to be opened in Orenburg

The decision to open an innovative technopark in the Orenburg region was made at a meeting of representatives of the regional authorities, the Orenburg IT business with specialists from the Skolkovo Foundation at the site of the My Business center.

- The Skolkovo Technopark offers qualitatively new opportunities for innovative development. First of all, we hope that the technopark will become a point of attraction for entrepreneurs of a new format and approaches, new ideas. The main thing is that business will be able to take advantage of the progressive developments of the Skolkovo Foundation and rely on assistance in the implementation of projects, says the Governor of the Orenburg Region Denis Pasler.

At the meeting, Deputy Head of the Regional Development Department of the Skolkovo Foundation Yuri Sibirskiy told the representatives of the Orenburg IT business about the opportunities and preferences for the Foundation's residents. Resources, ecosystem, accumulated knowledge, human potential of a technopark are equally important both for a startup and for an existing business.

“Our goal is to show the capabilities of partners, hear the business and come to an optimal solution for all interested participants,” said Denis Tolpeikin, Minister of Digital Development and Communications of the Orenburg Region, opening the meeting.

- The task of the government is to understand the needs of business and create conditions for development, - said Ignat Petukhov, head of the Orenburg Region Development Corporation.

Alexey Chernyshev - General Director of 1C-Connect, a Skolkovo resident shared his experience of interaction with the technopark, spoke about its capabilities... He noted the services and services, preferences that are now used by the company, and also assessed the speed of the partner's work, which plays an important role in the technology market.

The fund's representatives examined potential sites for the Skolkovo branch. In the near future, a decision will be made to open a technopark in Orenburg.

Skolkovo Technopark comprises more than 250 residents, 12 services demanded by residents, 40 collective use centers, 19 accredited service companies and more than 95,000 sq. M. for offices and laboratories. Today, the fund provides 14 types of support for IT business, including: monetary support, legal, marketing services, research infrastructures, etc.

Skolkovo Technopark was recognized as the winner in the Industrial Real Estate nomination at the All-Russian competition for the Best Implemented Development Project in the Russian Real Estate Market FIABCI-Russia. The first among the technoparks in Russia to receive the international certificate ISO9001. This quality management system (QMS) standard is the main one for service enterprises.
