For 7 months of 2020, the Orenburg region exported agricultural products worth over 78 million US dollars

In January-July, the export of products of the agro-industrial complex of the Orenburg region amounted to 78.4 million US dollars. This is over 65 percent of the 2020 target ($ 120 million).

Orenburg enterprises supply their products to Azerbaijan, Angola, Armenia, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bulgaria, Vietnam, Germany, Hong Kong, Denmark, Iran, Kazakhstan, Canada, Kyrgyzstan, China, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, UAE, USA, Tunisia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, etc.

The main types of exported agricultural products in the region are sunflower oil, sunflower meal, husk, lecithin (a new type of product); cereals (wheat, barley, rye); meat (including poultry) and milk, eggs, fish. The share of these products in total exports in 2019 amounted to 59 %.

In 2019, the export of agricultural products of the Orenburg region amounted to USD 120 million. This is 125 percent of the target (US $ 95.4 million).

The main volume of products exported from the Orenburg region fell on the oil and fat industry (about 30%) and cereals (wheat, barley, rye - more than 20% of the total volume). In 2019, the export of other products (animal feed, oil seeds, straw, fodder, etc.) was 3.5 times higher than the planned indicator - USD 33.95 million (28.5% total).
