In Orenburg region, a register of free investment sites was compiled

Specialists of the Orenburg Region Development Corporation have compiled a register of investment sites ready for development. According to preliminary data, it will have about 270 sites with the declared capacity of communal and engineering infrastructure, which are municipal or private.

- From February to March, we held working meetings with the heads of the municipalities of the Orenburg region. The main goal we pursued was to form a register of investment sites. In fact, we toured 39 municipalities of the Orenburg region, carried out an inventory of unused land plots, production areas, buildings and structures, individual premises, - says General Director of the Orenburg Region Development Corporation Ignat Petukhov.

Each investment site is a real estate object with a clarified official status and possible uses. For example, it can be a land plot for the construction of a production facility or for farming. This takes into account the possibility of providing electricity, heat, gas and water supply, wastewater disposal. Also, when assessing it, its location, area, availability of labor resources and professional training institutions, remoteness of transport infrastructure are taken into account. The combination of these parameters determines the quality and potential of the site. It can be designed for both a large investor and representatives of small and medium-sized businesses.

Information about all sites is available in the public domain on the investment portal of the Orenburg Region, which will soon be presented by the Orenburg Region Development Corporation.

As we were told in the Corporation, the portal is made so that everything is convenient and visual. Information about investment sites is posted in the appropriate section on a virtual map of the region, and you can view information on any area of interest in real time.

In each of the districts of the region, a list of real estate objects available for development is indicated, as well as complete information on them. Not only the purpose of using the land plot is indicated, but also the presence of natural resources, the distance in kilometers from the airport, the railway and transport highways, communications on the territory and their estimated capacity, the population and residents of working age. Here you can also download a scheme for technological connection to power grids, a gas supply scheme and a regional power supply development program. Direct contacts of persons responsible in the municipality for work with investors are indicated. In his personal account, a potential investor can ask any question of interest and receive a prompt answer to it.

In the future, the list of investment sites in the region will be expanded and refined.

- At the moment, a resource assessment of investment sites is being carried out, the possibility of connecting to communal and engineering infrastructure, - explained Ignat Petukhov. - The register of investment sites is one of the channels for attracting investors to the Orenburg region. With free resource sites, the region increases its investment attractiveness and opens up new opportunities for investors.
