The first accelerator for the creation and development of beach territories is working in Orenburg region

On April 3 at the My Business Center first full-time Accelerator module for the creation and development of beach areas was launched. Orenburg region is among the regions that will receive grant support from the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation in 2023 for the development of the tourism industry within the framework of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry". Last year, 48 regions were selected. In total, in 2023, under this measure, it is planned to support at least 1 thousand projects worth 5.3 billion rubles. 44 regions will receive 3.1 billion rubles for the creation and development of beach areas on the shores of seas, rivers and lakes, for the development of national tourist routes. 

The organizers were the Ministry of Economic Development, Investment, Tourism and External Relations of the Orenburg Region, the Center for Tourism Development of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Center for Entrepreneurship Support and Export Development of the Orenburg Region", the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization" Development Center " and the National Union of the Hospitality Industry (OSIG). The accelerator will run: the full-time stage from April 3 to 4, the remote stage from April 4 to May 10, and the final stage for supporting and implementing grant projects until the end of 2023. The number of participants in the accelerator is more than 30 entrepreneurs in the tourism sector.

The accelerator's training program is aimed at legal architectural consulting for the formation of grant applications, as well as project support before the technical launch of beach areas.

Subjects of the Russian Federation will receive subsidies 2022-2030 for the development of beaches on the shores of seas, rivers, lakes, reservoirs or other water bodies purchase of equipment, including equipment, equipment, equipment, goods arrangement of children's and sports recreation areas, public catering.

— The development of the tourist potential of the region is inextricably linked with the development of beaches. It is important that guests of the region and Orenburg residents have the opportunity to relax in comfortable and, most importantly, safe conditions. That is why we are launching the accelerator. The main task is to help entrepreneurs prepare projects for the development of their beach areas. The best of them will receive grant funding within the framework of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry". About 87 million rubles are planned for updating beaches, purchasing equipment and creating comfortable conditions in the Orenburg Region in 2023, " says Ignat Petukhov, Vice — Governor and Minister of Economic Development, Investment, Tourism and External Relations of the Orenburg Region.

The current situation in the country is such that funds are allocated for the development of beach areas, but there is no image of the result. Instead of beaches, separate facilities with 3-4 sun beds are being formed and, as a result, the country does not have sufficient tourist infrastructure, and budget funds are not being implemented properly.

The organization and implementation of an Accelerator for the creation and development of beach areas allows you to avoid this by preparing the required number of applications in the region, worked out in the expert support of specialists in master planning and design of beach areas, with legal support and preliminary audit of the generated applications by an expert team.

Expert support at the stage of designing beach areas in the preparation of competitive applications and at the stage of project implementation will provide a guaranteed result within the framework of the general concept of infrastructure development of the region's hospitality industry and the effective use of budget funds.
