Orenburg Humanitarian and Technical College opens "Factory of Production processes"

At the training and production site, students will improve their skills in their specialty and learn the principles of lean manufacturing.

– "Factory of production processes" as a training method allows you to get acquainted in a playful way with the main tools used to improve organizational processes, and immediately apply them in practice. Knowledge of the basics of lean manufacturing is becoming a competitive advantage in the labor market – " said Ignat Petukhov, Vice-Governor, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic and Investment Policy, Minister of Economic Development, Investment, Tourism and External Relations of the Orenburg Region.

On the basis of the technical school, a pilot project "Lean Technical School" is being implemented. It is aimed at improving the efficiency of the educational process, eliminating waste of time and financial resources, as well as improving jobs in workshops. "Lean Technical School" is accompanied by experts of the Regional Competence Center, which was established in the Orenburg region to support the national project "Labor Productivity".

Since the second semester of the current academic year, the course "Fundamentals of Lean Manufacturing"has been included in the educational program of the technical school. Every year, more than 100 students, as well as employees of specialized organizations and enterprises, will be able to study at the Factory of Production Processes.
