Leasing for farmers has become even more attractive

On July 28, the Government approved the Rules for the provision of subsidies from the regional budget to the Orenburg State Leasing Company to compensate for lost income when the lessee pays lease payments under financial lease (leasing) agreements concluded on preferential (special) terms.

Under this resolution, the Orenburg State Leasing Company acquires the right to receive subsidies in the event of a preferential lease agreement with agricultural producers in the Orenburg region.

Preferential conditions for farmers imply the conclusion of a financial lease (leasing) agreement for a period of up to 8 years, providing for a remuneration of at least 3.5 percent per annum inclusive and not more than 5 percent per annum inclusive.

As a result of this support measure, for agricultural producers of the region, leasing will become more attractive in comparison with lending, with subsidies for the purchase of equipment and with other commercial leasing due to its greater cheapness, lower advance payment, and quarterly payments.

A decrease in the cost of agricultural machinery and equipment under a leasing agreement will lead to an increase in the profitability of production, since one of the main indicators of the cost price - the cost of updating production assets - becomes cheaper.

It is these regional support measures that provide an opportunity to increase the purchase of capital goods using preferential programs of the Orenburg State Leasing Company.

In 2020, 125 units were delivered to the agrarians through OGLK JSC. equipment, including 51 tractors, 11 combine harvesters and 63 units. other agricultural machinery for a total amount of 364.15 million rubles.
