Chinese investors opened a plant in Orenburg

A plant of the Chinese industrial holding "Hylon Pipe Petroleum Service" started operating in the Orenburg region. The company has already invested half a billion rubles in the regional economy and plans to expand production. Development prospects and new investment projects were discussed at a meeting between the Governor of the Orenburg Region Denis Pasler and representatives of the holding.

According to the press service of the regional government, the meeting was attended by the general director of Hylon Pipe Petroleum Service (Orenburg) Fan Longhai and his deputy Zhou Lei.

The Hilong Group holding specializes in the development, production and maintenance of oil and gas production equipment. The company opened its third plant in Russia in Orenburg. They apply coatings for oil and gas drill pipes and tubing, as well as anti-corrosion coatings for the utility sector. Currently, over 130 jobs have been created in the production, with most of the team being Orenburg residents. The average salary at the enterprise is about 75 thousand rubles. The training of new employees is actively underway: eventually the share of workers from China will drop to five percent.

- There are enough people in Orenburg who have the necessary professional competencies. Many of them work on a rotational basis, and we, of course, are interested in creating high-paying jobs for them in the region, ”Denis Pasler emphasized. - I am sure that in the future, the friends and partners of Hylon Petroleum will also appreciate the human potential of our region and the unique logistics opportunities that the geographical position of the Orenburg region opens up for business: especially considering the large-scale project of the Europe - Western China highway.

It should be noted that the company "Hylon Petroleum Pipe Services" is registered in Orenburg. The investor pays taxes to the consolidated budget of the region.

- In 2018, we created a company in Orenburg. In a short time, we managed to set up production, assemble a team, create an enterprise from scratch. This became possible thanks to the support measures that the regional government offers to all entrepreneurs, and the geographical location of the Orenburg region, - said the head of the enterprise Fan Longhai.

All in all, the Hilong Group holding has more than 40 production bases and service centers around the world. The company's representatives called the project in Orenburg one of the most successful: the total volume of commercial investments has already exceeded 450 million rubles. Over a million meters of pipes have been covered. In the future, it is planned to open a line for the production of the coating itself in the region.
